A small note
on privacy.
You’re here for a good story. Here’s what happens with your information along the way.
While you’re reading
No account is needed. Like any website, delivering a page involves connection details such as your IP address.
We use Google Analytics to understand which stories people visit. It’s on by default on the live site and uses cookies. You can turn it off anytime through Cookies in the footer; that also removes our existing Google Analytics cookies. We save your choice in your browser. With JavaScript off, analytics stays off too.
When you leave a note
Our feedback form sends what you enter through Web3Forms to contact@bukhaar.com, so we can read it and respond. Your name and email are optional; add an email only if you’d like a reply. Please leave out sensitive information.
Web3Forms processes messages and spam checks. Its current policy allows submission data to be retained for up to three years. See its privacy policy (opens in a new tab) for details. The form also uses hCaptcha to prevent spam; its privacy policy (opens in a new tab) applies to that check. These services load only on the feedback page.
Your unfinished note stays in the page while you write; we don’t save it in browser storage. A sending error keeps it in the form so you can retry. The emailed message can remain in our inbox; you can ask us to remove it. If you prefer, or if JavaScript is off, email us directly.
When you share a story
Sharing links open your chosen service with the story’s title and link. We don’t load social widgets while you read. Once you open another service, its own privacy settings apply.
